Welcome to Wise Men Wednesday, your weekly dose of timeless wisdom to achieve complete life balance.

Podcasts from this week:

Dr Brian Keating Offers Thoughts on Atheism, Life After Death, What Makes a Great Student and Much More!

Dr. Brian Keating is the Chancellor’s Distinguished Professor at the University of California San Diego and the author of more than 200 scientific publications, two US Patents, and the best-selling memoir Losing the Noble Prize. Keating did research at Case Western Reserve University, Brown University, Stanford, and Caltech.

In 2007 he received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from President Bush. Keating is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and co-leads the Simons Array and Simons Observatory cosmology projects in Chile. He is a pilot and an honorary lifetime member of the National Society of Black Physicists.

Here’s what you’ll hear in my conversation with Dr. Brian Keating:

-Why so many elite scientists are atheists…

-What’s wrong with living as though God is real, even if He isn’t?…

-How and why science has been stripped from basic debate…

-There’s no one skill in anything we do…

-How to be a good student…

-Why curiosity often takes on a negative connotation…

-What Brian is on the real-time path of learning at the time of recording this interview…

-And much more…

Today’s nifty nugget:

William Lake said, “One of the most important lessons that experience teaches us that, on the whole, success depends more upon character than either intellect or fortune.”⠀

How are your habits on a daily basis? Are they reflecting honesty, integrity, love, reliability, respect, and trustworthiness?⠀

Are you self-centered or self-seeking?⠀

Don’t lose your good character on the road to success.

Have a great rest of the week!
