Build a Seven-Generation Family by Reconnecting With Your Past, Present, and Future with Rich Christiansen

Welcome to The James Quandahl Show the space where I interview the world’s experts and share how you can live your life to the fullest, be present and connect deeply with others, and build the life of your dreams.

On today’s episode I had a chance to chat with Rich Christiansen who has founded or co-founded 51 businesses and authored The ZigZag Principle a Wall Street Journal & USA today national best-selling book, and co-authored the book Bootstrap Business. He recently released a program on Building Family Legacies.

Together with his family, Rich loves to explore and spelunk slot canyons and crest the summits of high mountain peaks. He has stared up the throat of Mt. Everest three times, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro with his wife and sons. He enjoys frisbee golf, long boarding, and zipping down the ski slopes like a teenager. He’s a passionate golfer and loves fast zippy cars that are technology loaded.

Rich and I discussed on this episode how to build a dynastic family and the concept of seven generation families… Which is looking and planning three generations back and three generations forward.

We mapped out how you can create core family values, a family logo, mascot, mission statement, constitution, and much much more.

Rich also shared about the importance of celebrating milestones in our children lives such as at the ages of 8, 12, 14, 16, and 18.
